The Technical Service Department is operated by staff members with scientific and technical backgrounds. Technical evaluation and application development of the materials that we handle are conducted at the facilities of the company's Head Office.

Traditionally, the quality control of imported goods was the central role of this department. Recently, however, its range of operations is being expanded through technical communication to cover everything from overseas suppliers to customers.

The Food Materials Technical Support Team mainly performs operations involving the evaluation and application of milk protein, one of Nissei Kyoeki's main products. Our milk protein products are broadly utilized for their superior processing suitability and as a material to improve texture. There has also been a recent reaffirmation of the nutritional value of these substances.

We also plan to place more emphasis on the application of whey protein based sports supplements as well as foods for elderly individuals and individuals who require nursing care.

In addition to quality control and technical support for imported chemicals intended for industrial use, the Chemical Materials Technical Support Team also collects basic data regarding materials from both Japan and overseas through paper coating trials, an area in which the Technical Support Department is adept. The team then shares this information with suppliers and customers. The opening of new production areas and development of applications for imported chemical materials are also becoming important fields to address, along with the discovery of new materials.

As the structure of industry in Japan changes, the roles that the Technical Service Department is expected to perform are also likely to undergo great change. We will train staff with an even higher level of expertise, and contribute to the creation of a structure that can meet the high level of demands from our overseas suppliers and customers.

We will also reinforce our technical communication ability and proactively begin the development of new products and new materials that will become a key element in the creation of new markets. In addition, we will use our own business abilities to create a new future for Nissei Kyoeki, including overseas expansion.
